This is the fictitious blog of a young superhero as a study of (anti-)exceptionalism, comic culture, and social recognition. It’s meant to be at once an intellectual study and a fun, creative, and sometimes humorous project. Although it draws from many sources and inspirations, Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ The Watchmen is the central text which will be called upon again and again.
Though the Watchmen analysis is posted under SK’s name, it is important to note that while her analysis reflects my own, she doesn’t always apply it to her own life. Beyond an outlet and lens for analysis, she is a part of her own narrative, her story having echoes of Watchmen, and counter arguments, too.
